What a smartie!

Mallory, who will be 4 in a couple weeks, said the cutest thing just now.

Mallory: "I'm drawing a mushroom."

me: "Oh I LOVE it. My favorite part are the speckles on the top of it."

Mallory: "Those aren't speckles. They're smores."

me:"Smores????"

Mallory: "No. Not smores. SMORES. "

me: "What are smores?"

Mallory: "You know. They fly around and land in the yard and make more mushrooms."


me: "Oooh, I see. SPORES."

Where did she learn that? Mitchell, my 7 1/2 yr old, even asked me what spores were after he heard us talking about it.
