A night out with the girls!

Friday was our homeschool park day. It was a beautiful 70 degrees & sunny. The kids were having so much fun that we (Sarah, Pamela & I) ended up letting them play until almost dinner time. 4-5 hours at the park isn't too long, is it?

We rushed home to get Mitchell's Cub Scout stuff on, then we hit CiCi's for dinner. Michael took the kids to scouts and I went back home to freshen up. I changed shirts, retouched my makeup & sprayed myself with some perfume. Grabbed a bottle of water and hit the road to Jess' house.

Jess' mom is coming to town on Sunday, so she felt like she needed some girl time to help her relax prior to the visit. We played one game of pool, drank some wine & "yacked" about everything we could think about. One friend, Mary Margaret, had to get home around midnight because she teaches an exercise class on Saturday mornings at her gym. At that time, the rest of us decided to hit a local bar for some more drinking & people watching. We had a blast! We met interesting new people while drinking & listening to other drunks butcher our favorite songs. What could be more fun?

I can't remember what time last call was but all I do know was that I was home by 3:30am.
