Let's try this again.

Getting healthy that is.

I was like five pounds away from my goal weight and then slid all the way back up to the weight I was after giving birth to Mallory. I was burnt out on healthy eating, felt like I was never gonna reach my goals, slowly started exercising less & less, and then I hurt my foot very badly at a wedding last year (it still bothers me some). All those things combined with trying to keep our homeschooling on a schedule has lead to a huge amount of weight back on my body. It's depressing.

I've slowly been changing things regarding my eating over the past few weeks but I didn't get serious until today. I also hit the gym this morning. Man I've missed running. Thankfully my foot didn't bother me too bad, so I was able to alternate between jogging and walking to try to work my way back up to straight running. Running bores the heck out of me but my body craves it. I love the way I feel after I've been running. I didn't hit the weights but I'll do that next time.
