Long time no post.

I've gotten so wrapped up in other things that I have let my blog slide. I hate that I've missed posting about things for the past three months. I use this journal as a way to keep track out some of our daily life so I wont forget these precious moments. Let me catch up the latest stuff and try to stay on track with my journal from now on.

Last Tuesday my baby girl lost her first tooth. :( I can't believe that she's so grown up already. Her second tooth fell out (with a little wiggling) over the weekend. Now she's a "snaggle" and proud of it. She's always showing off her new gap. lol

Wednesday....Cinco de Mayo (my favorite drinking holiday) was a bust for me. I usually LOVE celebrating the fifth of May by drinking at least one Jumbo Margarita. I'm not Mexican and could careless about Mexico winning a war against France. I just love a reason to eat Mexican food and drink a Margarita. lol Anyway, my problem was that I made an appointment at the dentist for a cleaning without realizing what day it was. Mistakenly I thought that I would still be able to go out once I discovered my mix up. They said the numbing would wear off in about three hours, so I thought I'd be enjoying my fajitas, same as usual, by about 6pm. WRONG. The numbing did wear off in time but then the pain hit me. It was awful. My gums were way too sore to consider eating much of anything. I ended up caving to the hunger pains by eating some soft, easy to chew, pasta.

On Thursday we went to watch a play called "The Commedia King Arthur". Here is a description I found about it.....
"When bedraggled young squire Arthur forgets his master's sword, he needs to find a substitute quickly if he wants to keep his job. He grabs the nearest sword he can find, which happens to be sticking out of a big rock, and the rest is history - or at least legend. This quickly moving production features many well-known Arthurian tales, making it a perfect introduction to an English classic.

The story is told in the centuries-old Italian Commedia dell'arte theatre style that inspired modern day comedians like Abbott and Costello and the Marx Brothers. Fresh, fast-paced and full of physical humor, Commedia shows are always faithful to the original tale, but with an added bonus of slapstick silliness that leaves audiences helpless with laughter."

My kiddies loved the slapstick humor. They were rolling with laughter watching the actors trip, fall and hit one another.
