Last night, Michael and I signed Mitchell up for Cub Scouts. The mother of one of Mitchell's friends from preschool gave me the info about this pack. I've wanted to sign him up for the past year but have been too chicken to commit to another thing. We're always on the run and I was afraid that it would be too much. Any way, the topic came up again recently and so I decided that we'd go to the Fall Roundup to see what it's all about.
Mitchell was so excited. He was jumping off the walls with the idea of us camping. To tell you the truth, I'm a little excited myself even though I know how uncomfortable camping can really be.
One of the coolest things about this is that Mitchell will be following in his daddy's footsteps. Michael enrolled in Cub Scouts at the same age, in the same level (Wolf) back in 1980.
