Beach Trip, so far.

We are officially at the Beach!!! Woo Hoo!

Not gonna spend a lot of time on here blogging because I dont' want to miss a minute of the precious time we have here.

We left our house Saturday (August 29th) around nine am. I cram packed the car the night before so all we had to do was get up, shower and dress. The ride was cramped but otherwise good. Once we checked in and unloaded the car, we hit the beach for a few minutes to unwind. Once it was time for dinner, Michael and I decided that we wanted to do The Original Benjamin's Calabash Seafood buffet ( www.originalbenjamins.com ) for dinner. It's a tradition for us to eat there at least once on a beach trip to Myrtle Beach. The buffet was super busy. I don't recommend eating there on a weekend during the summer because of that crazy night. After dinner it was getting late but we HAD to stop at Wal-mart to pick up a few things. Once back at the hotel, we all hit the bed.

Sunday (August 30th)
The sun was shining and we took advantage of it. We were outside on the beach or pool most of the day. I totally gobbed on the sunscreen on the kids, so they made it through the day just fine. However, Michael and I can't say the same thing. We are both burned. My face and chest are so red and Michael looks like he has stripes because he didn't put an even coat of sunscreen on. lol

Mallory........

Her big thing that she wanted to do was to build a sea turtle in the sand and that was the first thing she did this day.
Also, while Mallory was standing in the waves with her arms reaching out from her sides like an airplane she said "Mom I feel like I'm flying!".

Mitchell........


Mitchell is such a little fish. We bought him a body board, so he spent a lot of his time riding waves today, running in the water, & diving through the waves.
