So sad that it had to end. :(
I'm just gonna hit the highlights from the rest of the trip.
Sea shells and sharks teeth
We spent lots mornings looking for cool sea shells and sharks teeth. We ended up with so many of both that I have NO idea what I'm gonna do with them all. I'm thinking art project of some sort.
Seafood AGAIN! Yumm-o
We ended up going back to the seafood buffet one more time because it was so yummy. Since we went on a week night this time, it wasn't as busy. The snow crab legs are my favorite thing, so I stuffed myself on many those. lol
Fun time
One night we played a couple rounds of Dinosaur Adventure Golf. The kids picked the place because they LOVE dinosaurs. Mallory actually stayed interested for the entire 36 holes, which amazed me. In the past, she has gotten bored with it really fast. Michael, that little shit, won both rounds by one or two strokes.
We also hit Broadway At the Beach a couple times. The first time we went it rained us out, so we had to take the kids back on a nicer day. Mallory rode the carousel, her all time favorite ride, first thing. Mitchell's favorite ride was the mini-Ferris wheel. He rode that twice. They both had five tickets each for rides in that area. Later they both decided to do one of those trampolines with bungee cords attached to them. One of their all time favorite things to do there is feeding the ducks/fish. I bet they spent a couple dollars each feeding those critters.
Sightseeing close to "home".
On more than one occasion we just took off walking close to the hotel. One day we walked to the pier so we could check out the view and watch people fishing. Another day we walked to a local pizza place for lunch, then to the grocery store & ice cream place before heading back "home". It was such a nice area. I like that so many things are within walking distance of where we were staying.
Those are the big things we did. All the rest of the time was spent between our room and the ocean. It was WONDERFUL. Can't wait to go back again.
