Apples, Apples, Apples

I have apples everywhere. lol

Last weekend we went apples picking. We picked 1/2 a bushel and purchased another 1/2 a peck. It didn't look like much at the time.

This week we are studying apples, Johnny Appleseed, tall tales, & classifying animals on top of math, spelling, & grammar. We've done art using apples, discussed apple growing and cooked/baked several goodies. We still have tons of apples. It looks like we haven't even touched them.

So now I'm searching my cookbooks and the internet for more recipes and things to do with them. Hopefully they won't go bad before I get through all of them.
