The first day of our "home" school was today. Everything went well, despite the fact that I didn't have much time to plan these past few weeks. Mitchell is officially 3rd grade this year and Mallory is in Kindergarten.
To keep things simple for us our man focus today was the basics.
Mitchell
spelling
grammar
math
reading
Mallory
Five in a Row (Mitchell sat through this too)
Alphabet (dry erase, handwriting pages, magnets)
Next week I'll get more in depth with history, science, and art. I've never had two kids to "teach" at the same time, so I need to work at how best to go about it.
