Today was the first meeting of Mitchell's Jr. First Lego League group. Basically the kids just voted on a team name and worked on making various moving vehicles. This years theme is "Smart Moves". Mitchell had a great time building. Mallory and the other kids that weren't a part of the group played upstairs for the two hours we were there. I just love how most homeschooling events include the entire family. Mitchell, Mallory and myself are together as a team all day long, so where one goes the rest must follow. lol
While all this was going on the moms just discussed what being in the league involved, various info about our kids and homeschooling in general. I enjoyed myself. Anytime I can hang out with other adults during the day is awesome in my book. I can't wait until our next meeting!
