Michael and I slept late this morning because we stayed up late last night. I didn't get up until about 10:00am. I think that must be some sort of mom record. It's not luck that my kids can fix their own bowls of cereal & know how to entertain themselves. ;)
After playing on the computer for a bit this morning, I fixed the kids lunch. Chicken sandwiches with grapple slices & cherry tomatoes and Chocolate cupcakes with sprinkles for dessert. I spoke to my mom on the phone for a while, then played two hours worth of Monopoly with Mitchell before I sent him to the poor house. I spent my "winnings" at a pretend restaurant where Mallory was my server. I also brought my pretend daughter Cinderella to eat as well. We dined on plastic grapes & oranges while washing it down with invisible juice.
Michael and I spent the next couple hours trying to pawn off dinner to the other one. lol We ended up choosing Little Caesar's because we haven't eaten there in years. While we were deciding Mitchell locked himself in his room and had an hour long phone conversation with his favorite aunt (well, really the only aunt that gives a hoot about him). Mallory couldn't stand that he hadn't allowed her in with him so she tried many things to attempt to get in. I caught her with a paperclip that she had bent straight. She was putting it in the key hole to try to unlock the door. lol That girl is sneaky.
