Thank goodness my van didn't completely over heat today. I was like three miles from picking Mallory up from preschool when I hear "ding". I look at my instrument panel and the oil light is on and the thermostat needle is laying on the "H" about to break through the top of the dial. I quickly turn my heat to full blast and pray that I make to preschool with out blowing up the engine.
Thankfully I made it!!!
I let the kids play at preschool for a while so the engine could cool some. Then I added some water to the radiator to make it until I could get some coolant. I really hate vehicles sometimes.
