Today we had friends over to our community pool to celebrate Mallory's 5th birthday. Mallory will be five on Monday. I made Strawberry & Chocolate cupcakes (per Mallory's request). Each cupcake had half a strawberry on the top along with a Tinkerbell decoration. Of course, it was so hot today that the icing melted and the strawberries slide off the cakes into the bottom of the container. That's not really important but it really tells you how warm it was. Temps in the 90's and not a cloud in the sky. Perfect pool weather.
Everyone had fun. The mommas got to sit around an talk for the most part while the kiddies swam and splashed in the pool. I did bring a few snacks to go along with the cupcakes and man those kids must have needed the fuel because they ate all the pretzels, gummie snacks, grapes, crackers and Skittles in no time.
Mallory really enjoyed herself. It was such a fun day!
