Michael resigned from his job today.
He'd been there 10 yrs and they told him not to worry about a notice, he could just leave. :(
10 years and they treat him like they don't even know him anymore.
I mean if he wanted to steal secrets, he could have been doing that for the past two months. Seriously, they told him two months ago that they would be letting him go soon. At one point in time they felt that Michael was the type of employee that could be respected and trusted. Then the next moment they're shoving him out the door shouting "don't let the door hit you on the way out". Some people are ignorant. (rolling my eyes)
I'm personally happy that I have two & half weeks with my sweet heart. It looks like a blessing to me but Michael is torn. He is grateful for the time with us but upset to be kicked to the curb like yesterdays trash.
