Plus one.

This week I was informed that one of my closest friends is pregnant. It was as much of a surprise to her as it was to me because she wasn't really planning another baby anytime soon. She actually thought that she was done (even though I could tell that she'd love one more baby).

It's no secret that I've wanted another baby for a while now and I'm always teasing her that we should get preggo together. How funny that she beat me to it. Michael and I have been putting off the official trying for our third & final baby for a couple years now. We just keep thinking of reasons why we should wait.

I know what you're thinking. The same thing everyone thinks when they hear me say that. Yes, I really do want another child. Yes, I feel like our family isn't complete, like we are waiting for someone. The only thing I've had a problem with is agreeing on when to bring this child into the world. I have no doubt that I will have another sweet baby to hold in my arms one day.

I've spoken openly about adding this child to so many people ( including my kids) for so long that I'm sure they doubt how much I want this baby.

Mitchell is dying for his baby. He wants it this summer. I told him last year that we'd most likely have a baby by this time. He doesn't want to wait any longer. lol I just don't know how many 8 yr old boys are so obsessed with babies. Well, I do know of one more. Mitchell's friend Colin is also obsessed with babies. The two of them have adopted my friend Amber's baby. They spend most of their playground time playing with and holding the baby. They even have nicknamed the baby (Robert) "Awsome Rob". lmao

I was hoping to lose some of this weight and try for a baby this fall but with Michael's job situation, we're scared that may not happen. We can't have a baby until we are certain we have income coming in. One more fork in the road to being a mommy for the third time.

Spirit baby, if you're listening, I haven't given up on you. I will bring you to me as soon as I can. I love you already and can't wait to meet you.
