Today was the last day of our every other week homeschool gymnastics class. Homeschool archery ended a few weeks ago and in a few weeks homeschool tennis will end. Mitchell took his year end test in April and did awesome as usual. The school year is wrapping itself up nicely. Technically (based on his age) Mitchell just finished up second grade but most of his work is fourth & fifth grade stuff. I love that about homeschooling. I can taylor it to his needs so he's not forced to keep going over stuff he understands and on the opposite end, we can spend tons of time on the stuff he just can't quite "get".
Soon I'll be the homeschooling mother of two. I'm a little scared about adding in another child but I know that we'll work it out. I think I'm gonna start a light load through the summer so we can get ahead on our work and justify taking time off during the next school year to do field trips, classes and vacations.
