We decided to spend the night at my parent's house last night instead of driving back home. It was a great idea since that meant we could head out to see a movie after we put the kids to bed. Michael and I watched "The Hangover". OMGawd that is a funny movie! I laughed my ass off. I'm so ready for a girl's weekend in Vegas. lol
This morning my parents took us to eat breakfast at Shoney's. Yumm-o! I ate pancakes, biscuits with gravy, bacon, country ham, hash browns & fresh fruit. I was so full that I couldn't eat much more than a small snack until dinner time. I wish the Shoney's near us was as good.
After Shoney's we headed back home. We were all tired and ready to be back in our cozy nest. Mallory took a nap while we were driving back but Michael & I took ours once we were back home. It felt good just to cuddle and snooze before we had dinner. The kids played playdough and watched a movie while we rested. It's so nice to have older kids. *sigh*
