What a busy day!
It started out with me oversleeping. I needed to get up thirty minutes early so I would have time to pick up our homeschooling friend Lora. Thankfully I was able to skip doing a few things before I left so I wasn't late to swim lessons.
With no time to spare, my kids changed out of their wet swimsuits and we rushed to meet more friends at the free summer movie (Horton Hears A Who) at a local theater. My kids have seen the movie but were happy to hang out with all their homeschooled friends watching it again. After the movie we let the kids splash and play in the fountain nearby. They were having the best time but soon were complaining about being hungry. Sarah and I took the kids to Quiznos nearby for subs before heading home. It was such a nice summer day. One of those days that you look back on years later. Can't wait to do it again.
