As of yesterday, Michael still hadn't heard anything from the dream job. Man, it is stressful to wait. I am NOT a patient person either.
All the waiting is really reeking havoc on Michael & I. We have trouble sleeping, anxiety attacks, we're losing patience with our kids, & the two of us have been comfort eating for the past couple weeks (yes, banana splits have been consumed on more than one occasion).
Michael got so sick from waiting that he couldn't take it anymore. So, he went ahead and called the HR guy yesterday. Do you know that those guys have been so busy that they haven't even had time to discuss the possibility of hiring Michael. (insert a scream of frustration here)
So we are still waiting in limbo.
